Who is Paul L Mathews ?
A former concept artist and illustrator, Paul L Mathews's career was derailed by the onset of the auto-immune disorder Myasthenia Gravis. Since then he has pursued his first love: writing.   To date his short stories have appeared in respected Indie publications like Estronomicon, Twisted Tongue, and The Willows, as well as Poland's leading sci-fi periodical, Nowa Fantastyka.   He is also the creator of The Valentine Chronicles. A serialised online space opera, the Valentine Chronicles recently celebrated its second birthday with a brand new gallery featuring art by the likes of Sean Phillips, Duncan Fegredo, and Jock.   He currently lives in West Yorkshire with a lovely wife, daughter, seven and a half cats, a monkey, and a lion.
