Accent UK Contributor - Martin Flink.
Who is Martin Flink ?
Martin was born (1976) and raised in Farum, but is now living in Hillerød with his wife, son and cat, and make his living as a graphic designer and graphic production manager at bDirect in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Martins love for comics were awakened by his uncle, who showed him MAD-magazines and old horror-classics at a very young age. Later on Martin began collecting Will Eisner's "The Spirit", some X-Men and Spiderman comics, and got heavy into "Dommeren", the Danish edition of "Judge Dredd". But since he stumbled upon Dave Sims "Cerebus" (Issue 176) Martin mostly began reading independent, self-published and more art-oriented comics.

Today Martin prefers story-driven comics, as long as the art-work supplements the story. Good comic-art is what makes the story come to life, not a certain art-style.

His works to date include Fantasiens Melodi (The Melody of Fantasy), Utopia (a two issue mini-series) is currently applying the finishing touches to his graphic novel 'The Man Of Glass' that will be published by Accent UK in 2009.
